Als u Windows 10 april Update hebt geïnstalleerd, zorg er dan voor dat uw Bluetooth-apparaten een ondersteund Bluetooth-profiel gebruiken. Anders kun je ze niet goed koppelen met je computer en zul je verschillende technische problemen tegenkomen.

Microsoft heeft zijn ondersteuningspagina al bijgewerkt met een lijst van alle Bluetooth-profielen die compatibel zijn met Windows 10 versie 1803. Als u niet weet welke profielen uw Bluetooth-apparaten ondersteunen, kunt u de bijbehorende documentatie raadplegen of u kunt eenvoudig naar de fabrikant gaan website.

Het is vermeldenswaard dat de Windows 10 april-update ook Bluetooth-versie 5.0 ondersteunt. Deze nieuwe Bluetooth-standaard biedt een aantal voordelen en verbeteringen ten opzichte van eerdere Bluetooth-normen. Gegevensoverdracht is bijvoorbeeld twee keer zo snel, het biedt meer ondersteuning op afstand voor apparaten en een berichtcapaciteit van 8 keer groter dan eerdere Bluetooth-normen.
